TEACHER & SPEAKER

One of the great joys of quilting is sharing what I have learned and seeing people grow in confidence and skill.  At one of my beginner’s classes last week Fiona held up a beautiful cushion… and to laughter and applause explained “I never thought I’d be able to make something like this”  It is a fantastic experience to teach a group of refugees now living in Glasgow but coming from Rwanda, The Congo, Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq, Kosovo and Columbia.  They have proudly visited the quilt we made together as it hung in The Burrell and Kelvingrove.

I taught City & Guilds for 2 years and now teach regular classes at The Studio  Design, Beginners, Themed Events, Inspired by:
